Worcester County has completed a draft of the 2022 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan (LPRP). This plan acts as a countywide master plan for land preservation, park acquisition and facility development. The plan will serve as a guide for land conservation and parks and recreation planning, park development, program improvements and decision-making in Worcester County.

Snow Hill, MD (April 28, 2022) – Following an extensive forensic investigation into a phishing incident that occurred between November 10-20, 2020, Worcester County Government (WCG) agencies and cybersecurity professionals discovered that a WCG email account had been breached. That email account contained limited personal information belonging to approximately 3,000 WCG and Board of Education (BOE) employee and retiree accounts.
